Outdoor Splits are made for those times when and indoor systems would be difficult to install. An optional decorative rock cover is available in multiple colors. Like the indoor split, the Aston Series Outdoor Splits are engineered for use with our GeoStar air handler*. When added to a fossil fuel furnace, the unit automatically switches to the most economical heating source for improved energy conservation. All Aston units utilize ozone-safe R-410A refrigerant.
*It is recommended to install a GeoStar air handler with the Aston Outdoor Split. The US Federal tax credit is only applicable when the GeoStar air handler is installed with the split unit.
